The library is dedicated to supporting the academic and research needs of our college community, including students, faculty, and staff. We offer a variety of resources and services designed to enhance your learning and research experience. From study and instructional spaces to popular reading materials, research databases, and technology services, we’re here to help you succeed here at RVCC. Whether you’re borrowing a book, printing materials, or finding a quiet place to study, we’ve got you covered.
Food and drink are allowed in the library but please clean up after yourself and be respectful of others.

The Library Help Desk is staffed Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this time we are also open to the public. After 4:00 PM when our front entrance closes, RVCC students, faculty, and staff may still enter the library through the Testing Center. The library’s reading room, computers, and printer is available to RVCC students and employees whenever the building is open.
We follow campus guidance for closures due to inclement weather, and the CCSNH calendar for holidays and recesses.

Who is eligible for a Library Account?
Anyone may request a library account with us. RVCC students, faculty, and staff as well as other CCSNH students and employees are automatically registered with an account. Members of the public may also request a free borrowers account during our operating hours at the Library Help Desk.
How long are books checked out for?
That depends on your type of library account. RVCC students and employees can check out most print books for one month at a time. For students, unreturned books will contuine to renew automatically until you graduate, at which time they must be returned.
For other CCSNH students and community members books will be due back three weeks after check out. You may renew, but it is not done automatically.
Does the library have more than just books?
We collect all sorts of things for you to check out! From board games and puzzles, phone chargers, DVDs, and even laptops you’ll find most things you need to be successful here at RVCC. For help looking, check with us at the desk.
Keep in mind some of our non-book resources may have different borrowing rules.

How do I access the WiFi?
There are two wireless networks on the campus – CCSNH and CCSNH-Guest. You can login to the CCSNH WiFi network using your EasyLogin credentials (student username and password).

How do the study rooms and student lounge work?
RVCC students are welcome to use our study spaces for group projects, individual study, or testing. You can reserve them in advance by emailing us or using this link. You don’t need a reservation, but priority will be given to those who book ahead.
This lounge is a campus hub for student life, SGA, clubs, and more! All students are welcome to use this space when not in use by a group. Students can study, meet, and watch TV in this space. The lounge has coffee, snacks, and a microwave.
